You already know that I always need a snack and I’m obsessed with everything sweet, yummy and easy to make. Therefore, I had to create a raw energy ball that embodies everything I love, which are especially dates. This snack is perfect when you get hungry in the afternoon or need an energy boost before working out.
Thanks to the dates, the Energy Balls are super gooey and hold together just perfectly. For me, the combination of apples and almonds are a classic winter combination and I’m obsessed with it.
This recipe is such an easy way to make yourself a healthy treat without compromising on any flavour. I made them the other day for some friends and they were literally gone in a minute. Everybody just loved them and I hope so will you!

First, place the almonds in a food processor until its grounded into small bits. Add the rest of the ingredient and pulse until you have a sticky mass. You might have to stop the food processor in between, scrape the dough from the sides and continue mixing. Roll into 16 balls. Choose your favourite topping such as chopped almonds, shredded coconut and/or grounded tigernuts and roll the balls in it. Store in an airtight container in the fridge.
