Healthy and Light Apple Crumble
back to mainThis apple crumble is the perfect treat. It tastes especially amazing fresh from the oven and in combination with the fruit sauce or vanilla sauce. I love that the crumble is mainly made out of apples which makes you feel less guilty when having another slice. I love to treating myself with something delicious from the oven. Since the preparation is so quick and easy and I always have these ingredients as part of my kitchen essentials, I make this dish many times and very spontaneously.

Pre-heat the oven to 160 °C. Cut the apples into very thin slices and cover the casserole dish evenly with it. Crush the macadamia nuts into fine pieces or in a personal blender. Mix all the ingredients and knead it with your hands until small crumbles form. Sprinkle the crumbles on top of the apples and bake for 25-30 min until golden brown.
