Healthy and Light Apple Crumble

This apple crumble is the perfect treat. It tastes especially amazing fresh from the oven and in combination with the fruit sauce or vanilla sauce. I love that the crumble is mainly made out of apples which makes you feel less guilty when having another slice. I love to treating myself with something delicious from the oven. Since the preparation is so quick and easy and I always have these ingredients as part of my kitchen essentials, I make this dish many times and very spontaneously.

INGREDIENTS

100 gr macadamia nuts
100 gr whole grain spelt flour
cinnamon
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp raisins
4 apples

Method:

Pre-heat the oven to 160 °C. Cut the apples into very thin slices and cover the casserole dish evenly with it. Crush the macadamia nuts into fine pieces or in a personal blender. Mix all the ingredients and knead it with your hands until small crumbles form. Sprinkle the crumbles on top of the apples and bake for 25-30 min until golden brown.
