Looking for the perfect snack?

For me, the best about these bliss balls is that they are not too sweet. The rice cakes add a savory and crunchy flavor, which makes it the perfect snack or treat. Hemp seeds have the most concentrated balance of proteins, essential fats, vitamins and enzymes combined with a relative absence of sugar, starches and saturated fats, which is why I try to include them in my afternoon snacks avoid sugar cravings and tiredness. This snack could also be great to bring to the office and inspire others to eat healthier. With histamine intolerance I feel it’s really difficult to find a ready made snack, so I make sure to bring something to work with me. For me, these little balls are a real pick me up on a stressful day and make me really happy and feel good until I get home.

Serves 10 balls
Cooks in 15 Minutes
Difficulty Easy

INGREDIENTS

2,5 rice cakes
25 gr dried cranberries (sulfide free)
88 gr tiger nut cream/ almond cream
1 tbsp maple syrup
hemp seeds

Method:

Place the rice cakes into a freezer bag, close it well and use a rolling pin to roll over it until all the rice cakes are broken into crumbs. Set the crumbs into a bowl, cut the cranberries in half and add them to the crumbs. Pour in the maple syrup and tiger nut cream and mix everything well. I like to use my hands for it.

Wet your hands a little and form little balls from the mixture. Roll them in some hemp seeds and store the bliss balls 30 min in the fridge before eating. You can store these balls in a airtight container in the fridge for up to a week.
